Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1974, SX69SW26, M. J. Fletcher (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV253820.

SX 6350 9320 An undamaged turf covered cairn 5.1 metres in diameter and up to 0.6 metres high, was found during field investigation. Surveyed at 1/2500. (The position of this cairn has been plotted by MJF at SX 6348 9324 on his 1/10 000 field document).

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
