Summary

A small assemblage of material was recovered during the topsoil strip across the area of a proposed development at 18 South Street. The majority of the material consisted of white refined earthenwares post 1720 and gravel tempered post-medieval wares. There were also two sherds of North Devon medieval coarseware, a sherd of Mottled Ware, and a good partial early 19th century clay pipe bowl.

A small assemblage of material was recovered during the topsoil strip across the area of a proposed development at 18 South Street. The majority of the material consisted of white refined earthenwares post 1720 and gravel tempered post-medieval wares.
