Threshing barn. The threshing barn is the east section of the long south range, which includes an open wagon shed, a stable and a cider house. Chert walls, brick dressings. Slate roof. Tie Beam Truss roof structure, 5 -bays of 4 tie beam trusses. Principals halved and lap-jointed at the apex and held with a single peg. Plate yokes and ridgeboard. Lap -jointed collars. 2 sets of lightly trenched purlins on cleats. Evidence for engine/machinery; Loading hatch; opposing doors to threshing floor; other. Horse engine. Drive shaft from horse engine house through south wall of barn, to left (east) of threshing door. Stub of large, possibly beech beam, alongside, for supporting drive shaft. Assortment of drive shafts and belt drives driven by generator are stored in barn. Currently used as agricultural store.
