East side. This small outbuilding is attached to the farmhouse. It was originally partially lofted, and has one doorway but no windows. It was possibly an animal house or used for storage. Chert, brick dressings; Cob. Some cob in rear wall. Corrugated iron roof. A-frame roof structure. 2-bays. A-frame truss on pads on wall tops. Mortise and tenon joint at apex. Collar is spiked at both ends. Diagonal ridge. I set of back purlins. Common rafters and thatch, now covered by corrugated iron. Door/s. Doorway to front has been enlarged to take 20th century timber double doors. Hayloft; Keeping place. There are stubs of loft poles in the rear wall, suggesting that it was originally partially lofted. There is a keeping place in the rear wall and one by the door. Blocked doorway through to the house in the internal wall. Currently used for domestic utility/storage.
