Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

The former field boundary is not depicted on the Chivelstone parish tithe map of between 1838-48.

The remains of a northwest-southeast aligned former field boundary of possible medieval date is visible as a cropmark bank on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1983, to the north of East Prawle. The cropmark of the former bank is approximately 6m wide and respects the existing field boundaries. The boundary may form part of a medieval strip field which passed out of use by the time of the Chivestone parish tithe map of between 1838-1848. The boundary was still visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1983.
