Two adjacent bomb craters of Second World War date are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1954, to the north of Rickham. The craters are circular in shape, measure approximately 10m in diameter and are spaced approximately 10m apart. The craters are first shown on aerial photographs of 1946 and are still visible in 1954. The earthworks have been infilled and levelled after this time and are not visible on later aerial photographs.
