A pale cropmark, 80 by 40 metres, and resembling an irregular curvilinear enclosure defined by a narrow bank less than 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945. A slight shadow on the northernmost part suggests that the feature has some height and could the the remains of an enclosure of possible prehistoric date. However it is perhaps more likely to have been created during contemporary agricultural activity, since it resembles an additional pale mark in the corner of the field that aligns with parallel linear cultivation marks. No sign of this possible feature is visible on any of the other available aerial photographs, and it has not been transcribed on the NMP mapping.
