Piggeries in Higher Yard. A roughly L -shaped piggery, with a hipped roof, curved in plan to the rear, in second, higher yard. It has a small gable-ended rubblestone 19th century privy built at right angles to it at the south end. Rubble stone walls. Corrugated iron roof. A-frame. 5-bays of A-frames on pads laid across wall tops. Plain mortise and tenon X -apexes. Lap -jointed collars. Single set of back purlins. Many odd shaped timbers. Door/s; Feeding Hatch; Timber window/s. Replacement 20th century doors to front in 5 original openings. Feeding hatches to rear, to 4 pens. Low masonry partition walls dividing pens. Currently uses as domestic utility and storage.
