Full description
Natural England Volunteers, 2009-2015, Natural England Volunteer Archaeological Survey (Worksheet). SDV350591.
Site vist 4th December 2009. Site of charcoal burning platform to south of trackway (Top Ride). The platform, 8.0 metres by 7.5 metres, is in good condition overall but has been excavated on its northern edge. Vegetation includes bracken, heather and bilberry. Potential encroachment by holly saplings. Supporting photographic evidence held by Natural England.
