SMR gives NGR as site of Tidwell Mill (documented in 1599); site now occupied by modern pumping station but leat still exists (SMR). Unclear if buildings shown on Tithe Map to south of road associated with mill or former manor house. Field to east of Kersbrook Lane called Rack Park on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment (Tithe Apportionment No. 1032 at SY 0630 8330). Indicates that either Tidwell Mill or Kersbrook Mill to south operated as fulling mill at some time.
