Full description

Natural England Volunteers, 2009-2015, Natural England Volunteer Archaeological Survey, P7b (iii) (Worksheet). SDV350591.

(Visited 30/04/2010) Yarner Mine trial excavations above the dressing platform. At least four pits dug parallel to the track, below it. These measure about 1 metre in width and slope down into the hillside. Mounds are visible but overgrown; pits are not immediately evident but are visible when up close. Six photographs taken. Photographic record held by Natural England.
