A rectangular structure, approximately 4.5 by 4 metres in plan, is visible on aerial photographs between 1945 and 1951 within a rectangular enclosure probably defined by a fence and measuring circa 13 by 18 metres. Their location suggests they could be an observation post and they may have had a military function in the Second World War, but their function is not clear from the aerial photographs. They may be associated with a rectangular patch of possibly levelled ground on the cliff edge to the south (MDV104049). No visible remains are evident on aerial photographs taken in 2007.
