Full description
Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH040.2 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.
Open-fronted cattle sheds. L -shaped range of open-fronted cattle sheds to rear of house and adjoining cider house. Narrow bay at east end of north range, divided from cattle shed by stone wall, used to contain a privy. Chert walls. Slate roof. Tie Beam Truss. North range 5 bays and west range 4 bays. Tiebeam trusses with notched mortice and tenon X -apexes, held with single pegs. No collars. Single set of back purlins and a plate yoke to ridgeboard. Door/s; Open front. Replacement 20th century timber posts to open front. Doorway through rear west wall with 20th century door and two windows through rear north wall with replacement 20th century windows. Currently used for domestic utility / storage.
