A simple rendered chapel with plain gothic lancet windows, built in 1838 for the Wesleyan Methodist Association when they divided from the Methodist mainstream. It remained in this use until 1961 when the Methodists were re-united and the chapel was acquired by the Congregational Church. In 1972 they became the United Reformed Church, also providing accommodation at Russell Street for the Salvation Army. Not listed, but makes a positive contribution to the special interest of the conservation area and is a possible candidate for a Local List.
