Full description

West Street has terraces of two or three storey houses mainly dating to the late 18th and 19th centuries. Some 18th century buildings now used as shops were once high status town houses. 81 West Street makes a positive contribution to the special interest of the conservation area, however it has poor quality shopfront signage.
