In King Street there are well detailed, mainly late 19th century shopfronts. A list of surviving historic
shopfronts, including 13 to15 King Street is in Appendix 4. These traditional shopfronts make a major contribution to the special interest of the conservation area.

Nos 13 and 14 are a large two storey building with five sash windows to the first floor, and three 19th century shopfronts to the ground floor, with a carriageway through to left of centre and an entrance doorway to right of centre. No 15 is a large two storey building with a double fronted 19th century shopfront, a carriageway through to the right and an entrance door to the left.
