Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The former field boundaries are not depicted on the Chivelstone parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as two cropmark ditches on aerial photographs of 2006, to the north of Lannacombe Barn. The cropmarks are visible as two northwest to southeast aligned ditches which generally respect the existing field boundaries. The former boundaries may form part of a medieval strip field which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial photographs consulted as part of this survey.
