Two possible bomb craters or anti-aircraft gun pits of Second World War date are visible as earthwork pit and banked features on aerial photographs of 1945 and 1946, to the northeast of Start Farm. The two adjacent earthwork pits, with associated outer banks are circular in shape and measure between 5-6m in diameter. They are visible on aerial photographs of 1945 and 1946, although have been completely levelled after this date.
