Full description
Natural England Volunteers, 2009-2015, Natural England Volunteer Archaeological Survey, P9 (Worksheet). SDV350591.
(Visited 16/10/2011) Probable charcoal burners’ platform in Yarner Wood. Platform measures 4 metres by 5 metres and abuts an 18th century trackway or ride through Yarner wood. The platform may include debris from the track. The downhill bank is slightly raised. Sliver birch and holly and oak saplings present.
