Full description

Open-fronted cattle shed - Ox Court. A remote, small courtyard enclosed on three sides by cattle sheds. On the north side there is a 4 -bay open fronted shed with a single bay which is set at right angles to the main shed at the west end. Rubble stone walls. Pantile roof. Triple pantile. Tie Beam Truss. 4 bay roof of tie beam trusses. Mortice and tenon at apex, with plate yoke and ridge board. 1 set of trenched purlins. Open front. Four brick piers to front, square in plan with rounded corners, each with 3 rail holes. Hayloft. Loft, supported on poles, to 3 eastern bays. Concrete floor and tubular steel stalls. Stalls. Tubular steel stalls. Currently disused.
