The Burlescombe war memorials consist of plaques within the parish church. The First World War Memorial inscription reads:
'TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN HONOURED MEMORY OF NINETY EIGHT MEN FROM THIS PARISH WHO SERVED THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919 OF WHOM THE FOLLOWING LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES'.
Below the Great War Memorial is fixed a small matching marble plaque commemorating the six men who died in the Second World War.
