A circular earthwork pit circa 10 metres in diamater is visible.

A circular pit visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945 is probably a bomb crater of Second World War date. The cuts the line of an earlier water meadow gutter. The earthwork crater was infilled in the years following the war and is not now visible as an earthwork.
