Full description

Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH041.8 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.

Ash House. A stone rubble ash house, to the front of the farmhouse. Unusually, the doorway faces away from the fields and towards the house. Rubble stone walls. Pantile roof. Monopitch. Door/s. The doorway was rebuilt in the 20th century. Plank and ledge door. An opening in the rear wall, for tipping in the ash, is now filled by a 20th century window. Currently used for domestic utility / storage.
