Full description

Pigsty. Low, gable- ended building which butts up to the stable, and faces south onto the yard. Rendered; Rubble stone walls. West end has been rebuilt in concrete block and is rendered in cement. Corrugated iron roof. Tie Beam Truss. 3-bay roof of tie beam trusses with mortise and tenoned X-apexes held with a single pegs. No collars (no need). Common rafters are thin, sliced branches sitting on wallplate. Still has original thatching battens. Door/s. Two 20th century plank and ledge doors in plain frames to front held on strap hinges with teardrop and arrowhead finials. Currently used for domestic utility/storage- wood store.
