Full description

The building is shown as part of an L-shaped range.

Open fronted cowshed. Cattle shed. Originally a longer building, and according to 1889 OS map, part of an L shaped range to a second yard, to east of existing yard, which has since been demolished. It has lost its roof and is in a dilapidated state. Chert walls. The rear wall is chert rubblestone. The original open front is partially blocked with concrete block. Originally, slate. Scissor Braces. 2 bays of building remain. Scissor braced roof with bolted X-apexes. 2 sets of purlins, the upper set in shallow trenches and the lower set resting on back of principals. Open front. One post to open front remains. Feeding passage. Evidence of feeding passage to rear. Currently disused.
