Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

Two probable curvilinear ditches or hollow ways are visible on images derived from Lidar data captured between 2001 and 2010. They appear to be aligned at a slight diagonal to the contour and one is possibly contiguous with a trackway to the south, depicted on the late nineteenth century mapping. It is possible that they could have been routeways associated with woodland industry; a nearby quarry is depicted on the late nineteenth century mapping. However as tree cover obscures the area on the available aerial photographs their form has not been confirmed, and a site visit is required to verify these as earthworks in the first instance.
