Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The former field boundaries are not depicted on the Strete parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork banks on images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, west of Strete. The three plough spread earthwork banks are northeast to southwest aligned and generally respect the existing and historic field patterns. The boundaries may form part of a medieval strip field which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The boundaries are visible as earthwork banks only on LiDAR images dating to 1998-2008.
