A possible coastal observation post or pillbox of Second World War date is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1945 at Willow Cove. The single structure measures approximately 3m² and is positioned alongside a field boundary within a small clearing. The presence of the possible observation post could not be firmly established on earlier aerial photographs, although the structure has clearly been removed after 1945.
