Full description
Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH050.8 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.
Cart shed. Originally a carriage house. Later a cart shed. A 19th century, gable-ended 2-bay cartshed opening onto track into northwest end of yard. It is probably a rebuild of an earlier building. Chert; limestone; rubble stone, brick dressings. 20th century tile; corrugated iron. Delta tiles. Small section of corrugated iron. A-frame. 2- bays. A-frame trusses, nailed principals, otherwise similar to cattle sheds (BH050.7). Presumably no tie to make room for loaded carts. Door/s. Remains of double doors to opening at north end, held on strap hinges with arrowhead finials. Solid, pegged frame. Currently a cow house.
