A possible former quarry of modern date is visible as an earthwork pit and bank on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards and on images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, to the west of Lower Sharpham Barton. The possible quarry is sub-oval in shape, comprises a central earthwork pit with outer earthwork bank derived from possible upcast material and measures approximately 33m in length. The earthwork pit and bank is located in an area characterised by former quarry workings and remains visible on images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012.
