The site of the quarry is depicted as a wooded area.

A possible quarry of potential post-medieval date is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards and on images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012 at Old Vicarage Farm. The earthwork pit, which is located in an area of previously recorded quarries, is sub-oval in shape, measures approximately 48m in length and appears to be first depicted as a wooded area on historical mapping dating to between the 1880-s-90’s. The quarry remains visible as an earthwork pit on images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012.
