The possible lynchets or boundaries are not depicted on the Stoke Gabriel parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

Possible lynchets or boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as a series of earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards and on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, at Sandridge Barton. The possible lynchets or boundaries are northeast to southwest aligned, measure between 78-123m in length and are parallel to the southeast facing slope. The earthwork banks, which may be of medieval origin and passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48, remain visible on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012.
