The site of the former quarry is possibly depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

A quarry of post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards and on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012, to the northeast of East Cornworthy. The former quarry, which is oval in shape and measures approximately 36m in length, appears to be first depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s and is located in an area characterised by former quarry sites. The quarry remains visible as a slight earthwork pit on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2012.
