A narrow linear cropmark is visible.

The cropmark is visible within a field characteristed as being of post-medieval enclosure. The surrounding fields have been characteristed as being based on medieval strip fields.

A narrow linear cropmark defining a possible ditched rectilinear enclosure is visible on aerial photographs of 1951, to the north of Maidencombe. The possible enclosure appears to be aligned upon and abut the extant field boundaries to the north and east which are probably post-medieval in origin. This could be interpreted as evidence the enclosure post-dates the field boundaries. Nonetheless, the date and function of the possible enclosure are unknown.
