A small pit, approximately 2 metres in width, is visible on the northern edge of Daddyhole Plain on aerial photographs taken in August 1941. Possible upcast visible as a pale semi-circular mark on the northern side of the pit may have been caused by an impact that created the pit. Its date and location suggest it could be a bomb crater, perhaps an unexploded bomb in view of its small size. It is visible as a pale mark on aerial photographs taken later in August and September of the same year, but not on later available aerial photographs, and it is unclear what - if anything - of this feature survives.
