Full description

Workshop. Originally a trap house. Later used as a workshop. A late 19th-early 20th century gable-ended building built to the north of the farmhouse. It has been substantially rebuilt in the late 20th century and has become difficult to interpret. The farmstead had buildings covering all the main functions of the farm by the late 19th century. It is possible that this building has always been a workshop. Chert, brick dressed walls. Roman tile roof. Double. Tie beam truss. A 4-bay roof of tie beam trusses, with a single set of back purlins and a ridgeboard. Door/s; timber window/s. To the rear there is a plank and ledge door, and to the front a widened opening with a sliding metal door, and a 20th century man door. There is a small window to the rear, with glazing bars. The exterior has been substantially rebuilt in the late 20th century. Currently a farm workshop.
