Full description
Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH175.4 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.
Stable. Hayloft/tallet; stable. The lower two bays of the main range, which is lofted and was used as a stable. Chert; limestone walls. There is a limestone ashlar coping to the west gable-end. Slate roof. Tie beam truss. A two-bay roof of tie beam trusses with raking queen struts. There is one set of trenched purlins and a diagonal ridge. The lap-jointed, bolted collar is secondary. Door/s; timber window/s. The main door opening has a solid frame with a replacement 20th century plank and ledge door. There is a first floor two-light window above the door with a solid, square section timber frame with a central mullion. A similar window to the ground floor, to the right of the door, is missing its mullion. Hayloft. Currently disused.
