The possible gun pit is visible as an earthwork pit and bank.

The former gun pit is visible as an earthwork bank.

The former gun pit has been levelled.

A possible Light Anti-Aircraft gun emplacement of Second World War date is visible as an earthwork pit and bank on aerial photographs of 1942 onwards, to the east of Higher Noss Point. The gun pit is visible as an oval shaped earthwork pit, measuring approximately 6m in length, with an outer semi-circular earthwork bank to the north, east and south of the pit. The former gun pit has been partly levelled by 1946, although is still visible as an earthwork bank. The earthwork has been levelled by 1950.
