The rectangular structure, which is located in a prominent position in the landscape, measures approximately 4m long by 2.7m wide and may be associated with the landing craft maintenance site located 60m to the southwest. The possible pillbox remains visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1960, although is no longer visible on aerial photographs of 1984 owing to dense vegetation.
