A possible slit trench of Second World War date is visible as an earthwork pit and bank on aerial photographs of 1945 onwards, to the north of Rocks. The possible slit trench is first visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1942, although is not clearly visible as an earthwork pit and bank until aerial photographs of 1945. It comprises an east to west aligned earthwork pit which measures approximately 11.5m long by 1.8m wide and appears to be flanked on its northern side by an earthwork bank. The former slit trench remains visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1950, although appears to have been levelled by 1959.
