Two probable ditches are visible as curvilinear earthworks aligned roughly parallel to the contour on aerial photographs between 1946 and 1988 on Torre Abbey Meadows, and are partly visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2012. They are less than a metre in width, sited 20 metres apart and the visible length is up to 60 metres. Large straight drains are depicted to the west and south on the late nineteenth century mapping, possibly originating from the watercourse to the west. The earthworks could have been field gutters forming part of a post-medieval watermeadow, which may have covered a larger area than is visible on the aerial photographs. Slight earthworks or below-ground remains are likely to survive.
