A network of earthworks is visible, presumably relating to the putting green.

Channel Coast Observatory, 2001-2012, Channel Coast Observatory Aerial Photography, Channel Coastal Observatory SX9063_20120918ortho.ecw 18-SEP-2012 (Aerial Photograph). SDV351226.

A circular feature, probably an earthwork ditch, is visible.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

A circular feature 10 metres in diameter and visible on aerial photographs taken in 2012 is probably the base of the short-lived Torquay High Flier balloon attraction. The vegetation is lower around the periphery of the circle with possible structural remains visible as a pale mark in the base. Other structural components, such as tethering points, may remain. The feature is modern in date and has not been transcribed, but is recorded to avoid erroneous identification as a monument in the future.
