A circular structure is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1944, measuring circa 13 metres in diameter. It appears to be filled with water and was probably a Second World War Emergency Water Supply Reservoir. Its construction seems to post-date September 1941 as it is not visible on aerial photographs taken in this month. The structure appears to have been removed by 1946 when only a pale circular parchmark was visible in this location.
