Full description

19th century stonewalled building with corrugated iron roof. In poor condition (B.A.R. 2.2.4).

Cart shed. A small, low, open-ended cart shed outside the yard on the track leading to the farmstead from the road. Chert; rubble stone walls. Pantile roof. Double pantile. A-frame. 4- bays. A-frames resting on axial pads, with bolted, lap-jointed X-apexes. The collars are lap-jointed and nailed. The ridge rests on the back of the south principal. One set of trenched purlins, which are also on cleats. Arcade. Open at both ends. Stone rubble walls to north and south. The south wall continues to the east, at a reduced height, and is the back wall of a lower, 4-bay, open-fronted shed. Currently disused.
