A possible former quarry is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards and images derived from Lidar data as a semi-circular earthwork pit up to 20 metres in diameter, adjacent to a field boundary to the south of Gore Lane. The earthwork corresponds with a dashed area depicted on the tithe map for Littleham and is therefore probably post-medieval to 19th century in date.
