A possibly ditch defined earthwork bank enclosing approximately 700 square metres of the northern corner of a field on the High Land of Orcombe is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The surrounding field system has been characterised as Barton Fields and were probably enclosed in the post-medieval period. The earthwork bank is therefore probably of post-medieval or later date. It might have been made as a wood-bank to enclose a small copse. The bank is now obscured by scrub vegetation.
