Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
'Woodhayne Farm' is marked.
Clements, H. A., 1994, Survey of Farmsteads in the Devon Part of the Blackdown Hills, Annotated plan and photos (Report - Survey). SDV344050.
Annotated plan shows a 16th/17th century farmhouse with an outbuilding, now an office and a waggon shed forming the south and west sides of an adjacent cobbled yard. Both buildings are dated to the 19th century and have tiled roofs. They are considered to be in fair condition (B.A.R. 3.3.5, 3.2.4). Opposite the farmhouse is a 19th century barn with an 1831 datestone, also in fair condition (B.A.R. 3.2.4). At the eastern end of the yard is a 19th century stone and timber built shelter shed in poor condition (B.A.R. 2.2.4).
