Dramatically positioned farmstead on high, steep site with sweeping views over valley and hills beyond. Complete set of early 19th century buildings, some adapted in 20th century but still readable, and an attractive late 18th century /early 19th century detached threshing barn. Evolved courtyard. The threshing barn stands at the east end of the yard, with shippons and a stable forming the north side and the farmhouse the south side. A range of pigsties are to the west, and a cartshed outside the yard. Modern farmyard surface. Farmhouse forms south side of yard.
