Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The former field boundary is not depicted on the Topsham parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

The former field boundary is visible as a cropmark bank.

A former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a cropmark bank on aerial photographs of 1946, to the west of Cott’s Farm. The faint cropmark of the largely ploughed-out bank is northeast to southwest aligned and generally respects the historic field boundaries based on a pattern of medieval strip fields. The former boundary, which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48, was not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
