A hulk of modern date is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards and on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2012, within marshland of the River Exe estuary. The former craft measures approximately 24m in length by 7m in width and is distinctive in its square-ended form and similar in style to a dredger. The craft appears as a recently abandoned structure on aerial photographs of 1946 and remains largely visible, although infilled with mud, on aerial photographs up until 1978. By digital images of 2012, the hulk has almost entirely been overtaken with marshland vegetation, although its outline remains partly visible, with timbers of the wrecked structure present at its northern extent.
